U15-U19 High School & College Development Program

The success of our High School & College Development Program will be defined by our ability to develop tactically disciplined, independently creative, team orientated and well-prepared students and soccer players with a plan to pursue and achieve their high school and post high school goals. We will achieve by providing an environment that enhances both their athletic preparation, social preparation and guidelines to enhance their academic paths.

Training to Win - EXPECTATIONS -

• Demonstrates a strong desire to compete and a commitment to training and competitive events for the team
• Demonstrates tactical understanding of the game and game situations.
• High level of fitness.
• Is combative in training and in games.
• Demonstrates an independent commitment to personal development
• Demonstrates high level of passion and concentration during practices and games
• Soccer is a high priority for the athlete and they have a passion to play
• Parents are committed to the Club's expectations of their player and their commitment to their respective team/teammates.

Objectives

We will endorse higher opportunities for the players that show responsibility, ownership and commitment to the team and players. Developing and providing exposure for all of our most committed players takes priority. The program is designed to prepare athletes for the future demands of the game by improving the player's technical, tactical, fitness, and psychological skills within a professional training environment.

Team Composition

Rosters will be identified based on development-appropriate decisions and the player's ability to meet the demands of each program. Rosters will be determined from pools and if necessary, some pools may be combined as necessary to facilitate a competitive game roster. Provisional players, or training only players, assuming they meet the development-appropriate criteria, may be considered ONLY as provisional spots and restricted to training. Provisional training players may be added to rosters at any time as deemed appropriate by the club.

For seasonal events, such as College Showcase, rosters may be comprised of a combination of players from across the pool so that we do not eliminate individual opportunities from our list of target events. In the event of combined rosters for College Showcases, spots may be allocated to

A) the oldest age groups

B) players who are actively pursuing college soccer opportunities.
