FC America Where are practices? Davenport Soccer Complex

When do we practice? Practices are Monday-Thursday. Some Friday we may have Open Play but do not have team practices.

When are games? Games are Saturday or Sunday. Youth Academy games will be in house league games. May add some friendlies.

What size ball does my child need? U12 and under need size 4. U13 and up size 5.

What gear does my child need? Cleats, shinguards, ball, and water bottle and appropriate FC America practice attire.

What are the official uniform? Uniform includes home and away kit (socks and shorts).

What age group does my child participate? Age group is determined by birth year.

How much are fees? Club fees are $520 for the year. Includes the fall, winter and spring seasons. NO REFUNDS for partial season. Refunds WILL NOT be issued for participants who register in the fall and elect not to participate in the winter or spring.

Can I register if I don't live in Iowa? Yes, we have players from all over the Quad Cities and other cities within 45 minutes


I missed tryouts, what do I do? Email us at premiersoccer@mchsi.com and we will check availability.

How do I get notified if I made a team? You will be notified by the coach via email, phone or in person. You will receive an invitation through email to accept the offer to play, register, and pay club fees.

How do I register? You will receive offer/invitation through email and complete the steps to register and pay.

How can I pay? Online with credit card or by check payable to FC America Soccer Club.

I changed my email, do you need to know my new address? Yes, log-in to your TEAM CONNECT account and update your profile.

I would like my child to participate in an older age group, what should I do? Notify the coaches of each age group. Final decision will be made by the Director of Coaching.

Do current FC America players need to tryout and register online? Yes, all players should tryout and register online.

How many teams will there be for each age group? Depends on number at tryouts (At most 2 teams).

What is the clubs policy on roster size? Roster sizes for each playing format will be determined to maximize player development and playing time. We will return to our philosophy of less players to maximize playing time for all our members.

When can parents talk to staff/coaches at tryouts? Short conversations can be accommodated during the tryouts. More detailed conversations can be arranged by phone.

Who will coach the team? We have assembled the strongest staff to date for our program and are very excited about the quality of coaching available to our players. Coaching assignments will be announced shortly before tryouts.

Are practices and games mandatory? Training sessions, games, tournaments and all team events and designed to maximize individual player development and team growth, as well as safety from a fitness standpoint and are therefore a mandatory commitment. But understand that life happens and families will occasionally miss but we expect players to be all scheduled events. When we say our events are mandatory we mean it is not optional for you to choose when and where you are going to attend.


How many tournaments do we play? Depends on the team commitment. But we try for one or two tournaments per season. Some may play more.

Can my child play club and other sports at the same time? Yes but have to be realistic and be able to attend training sessions.

What league will our team play in? We play in either ILLOWA, ISL or the EISL depends on the team. Our coaching director and coach will decide the best league for the team.
